What's Up Everybody!

What's up everybody, greetings from DC, where I'm doing a Camp Freddy show at the 9:30 Club tonight. Been awhile since I checked in so here goes. Just got back a few days ago from an amazing trip to Manila. We played the Smart Araneta Coliseum with Gin Blossoms and Smash Mouth, the same venue that staged the "Thrila in Manila", with Ali and Joe Frazier.

The people there were so warm and friendly and really extended every courtesy one could hope for when away from home.

The show was incredible , the place was packed, and the production levels they had on stage were amazing! Giant big screens that had the bands logos and rotating HD sceneries of beaches, surfers, etc. Though it was our first time in Manila, it certainly won't be our last...Mubuhay!

Also finished filming the next season of Killer Karaoke for TruTV network. Had the pleasure of working with some of the smartest and hard working people I have ever had the opportunity to share the stage with. If you were a fan last year, you are going to love the improvements in gameplay and production. If you haven't seen it, you must tune in and watch what The New York Times called "maybe the greatest show in television history!" I have never laughed harder at some of the challenges I saw, and still can't believe what people had to endure for a shot of up to 10 K! Looking forward to doing some sort of Q & A after each premiere episode on Facebook, so stay tuned to my Twitter feed for more info.

A couple more SR and Mark McGrath shows, a few Camp Freddy shows, and then of course the Camp Freddy residency in December and 2013 is over...where does the time go my friends!

You guys are amazing! I can't be happier that I got to watch the band live in Manila. It's a dream come true! I've always loved your songs and in sophomore year in highschool, that was 12 years ago, I remember memorizing all the songs in the 14:59 album. Not easy at all since I had a cassette tape then.

Mark, you are such an entertainer. You guys are all so awesome!

Please come back soon. Anytime. ;)

Great to hear about your road trips on the blog. Just saw you in Carrollton, TX. Great show! You and the band seem very genuine and humble, but especially, look like you are having a great time! Thanks for sharing your talent with us all these years. And thanks to your wife and children for sharing you!! I'm sure it's hard for you to be gone from them! All the best to you!

Saw you and Gin Blossoms in Biloxi last month at Hard Rock. YOU are still so good looking and energetic...really enjoyed the concert. One of the best I have seen in YEARS!

Under the Sun?

I am thrilled with all the awesome stuff that you've been up to lately. You totally deserve it; you are so fan oriented and we love you to pieces for it! You put on a great show. It's so fun, in fact, that I'm hoping and pleading with you now to pleeeeeeeease come back to MA with your "under the sun" tour!!! I was there last summer-so fun. I want to "fly" on over there right now! I might as well be "walking on the sun", trying to find "the way" in the wintertime, but "someday","I'll follow you (all) down" to another awesome 90's summertime concert venue where we can all enjoy your music one more time. Why? because "I'm a believer"! ;-) And, "when it's over," and I'm thinking that concert was "the best I ever had", I'm going to "hang on" to tomorrow, knowing that "every morning" brings hope in the "miracle" that "everything you want" can come "closer"... Even if that includes another concert ;). You may be thinking, "she's different!" But that can I say? "Girls were made to love" the 90's! ;-) Yeah, I quoted all y'all (and I may have looked online a little bit..). You get extra shouts because you're Mark McGrath (though all of you were amazing!!!). We miss ya! Please come back! Thanks. Enjoy your touring and all the stuff you're up to!
